Welcome to our second Weekly Status Update.
General Overview: We are still recruiting a C++ developer who is able to update and fix some bugs related to our Node Software ($BTCT Wallet), and to develop a new and fresh API to provide currently listed exchanges and the ones that will come in the near future, with the appropriate data to feed their platforms timely and securely. We can assure our users that we are going to have this issues tackled as soon as possible, hopefully during the first quarter of 2022. Our official blockchain explorer is online, since a few day ago; we are currently working on the API connections to enable calls from listing partners and third parties. GitHub repository has been duly updated with the API documentation to help soothe that lack of information. We also updated tokenomics (reward structure) and other key data in our website. Explorer's cloning will be the most pressing task, until we find our C++ developer, just to ensure blockchain's explorer access and queries.
Masternode count: We currently have 402 full and 123 shared masternodes running in the network.
Listing Partnerships: Though we have received a few setbacks with StakeCube and FlitsMobile, we feel that once we are up and running again (new Node Software and API), we will immediately be listed over no-less than 2 centralized exchanges. We already contacted FlitsMobile to let them know that we have a working API and blockchain explorer, to be re-listed with them. Same thing will be done in relation with StakeCube's $BTCT listing. Although we are actively using ZCore's provided $BTCT-$wBTCT bridge, we have recently discovered that it is no longer a trustworthy partnership, as communications with that project's Founder & CEO have not rendered any action that would give us independence or autonomy --in terms of the explorer and API--, which was kindly asked from him on several occasions, without any success. This is why we are focusing on having our own source code being re-made; once that is in place, appropriate security measures will be taken in order to facilitate cloning, managing commits, and publish relases. Flits Wallet is already in process of relisting our project!
$wBTCT: wrapped BitcoinToken (deployed over Binance Smart Chain) is being enabled as a swapping pair within DWARFSwap, before Q1-2022 has fully ended, which will thrust $BTCT network activity and price, for sure. $wBTCT-$BTCT bridge will be one of the main development objectives to be ready for Q2-2022, helping current $wBTCT holders who want to re-gain access to their native $BTCT holding positions.
Community S.O.S.: Because of its truly decentralized nature, our project is always in need for voluntary actions from its userbase, for example: to raise awareness over Social Media channels; to feedback our Dev. Team with nice ideas that could thrive $BTCT's adoption, and spread BitcoinToken's key message: to enable user's financial sovereignity through a fast, cheap, and eco-friendly payments coin.
